Chef – North Indian & South Indian Specilaity

We are looking for a skilled and passionate chef specializing in North and South Indian cuisine for the 100% vegetarian restaurant to join our kitchen team in Antwerp.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic dishes with consistency in taste and quality. Working closely with other chefs, you will help deliver an exceptional dining experience while maintaining high kitchen standards in a fast-paced environment.

Food Preparation & Cooking

• Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Indian and South Indian dishes
• All North Indian varieties
• Dosas, Idlis, Vada, and other South Indian Varieties
• Prepare traditional Indian desserts & food such as Payasam, Kesari, Halwa, Chole Bhature, Naan, Indo-Chinese noodles, Rice varieties, & sweets like badushah, Kaju Katli, & Laddoo.
• Plain, paper, ghee roast, masala dosa, set dosa, uthappam, podi, rawa dosa
• Prepare Tamil tawa dishes such as kothu parotta, vegetable fry, curries, and chapati
• Batter & Base Preparations
• Soaking, wet grinding, fermentation, and maintaining proper consistency

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional kitchen experience
• Strong expertise in:
• South Indian cuisine
• North Indian cuisine
• Indian desserts
• Works cleanly, efficiently, and remains calm under pressure
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of English or Dutch is a plus (Dutch language support can be provided)
