Industrial Welder (TIG/MIG – Aluminium Tanker Fabrication)

Van Hool is looking for an experienced Industrial Welder specializing in TIG and MIG welding for aluminium tanker and heavy vehicle structures.
You will be responsible for high-quality welding work in a production environment where precision and safety are critical.

Key Responsibilities

Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel

Execute coded welding and ensure welds meet X-ray quality standards

Carry out pipe welding and structural welding

Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols

Work according to WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications)

Perform welding in all positions (2G, vertical, overhead, etc.)

Conduct weld repairs and leak testing

Ensure high-quality finishes and compliance with safety standards

Profile

Proven experience as a TIG/MIG welder (industrial environment)

Strong experience with aluminium welding (essential)

Experience with coded welding / high-spec welding standards

Ability to read technical drawings

Knowledge of WPS is a strong advantage

Experience in tanker, trailer, or heavy vehicle manufacturing is a plus
