Pilot Plant Technician

We are looking for a Pilot Plant Technician with a critical mindset to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Maintenance of existing pilot plant assets and assisting in new-build projects. Production of fermentation substrates using a novel thermophysical pretreatment system. Cultivation of microorganisms in several pilot-scale solid-state fermenters.

You hold a technical bachelor’s degree in (electro)mechanics, biochemistry, a related field or equivalent through experience

Proven experience working safely in hazardous environments (chemicals, high-pressure systems, pilot plants) with strict adherence to safety protocols.

Demonstrates ownership in last-minute hazard evaluations and leadership in promoting a safety-first culture.

Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and basic electrical knowledge.

The ability to read and interpret technical documents, equipment manuals, and process diagrams.
