Van Hool IV, a globally recognised leader in the design and manufacture of industrial vehicles, is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join its commercial team in Belgium.
Key Responsibilities
Drive technical and commercial sales of Van Hool IV products in assigned markets
Serve as the technical and commercial interface between clients and internal engineering teams
Prepare compelling technical proposals, cost analyses, tenders, and client presentations
Deliver product demonstrations and provide high-level technical support
Analyse market trends and identify strategic business opportunities
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring long-term commercial success
Support contract negotiations and closure, ensuring alignment with company objectives
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and after-sales teams to meet customer requirements
Profiel
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or similar)
- Proven experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or consultative selling
- Strong commercial and technical acumen with excellent problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities
- Ability to operate independently within a multicultural, international environment
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an advantage
