Senior Business controller

For one of the Belgian entities of a global manufacturing company in the port of Ghent, I am lookiung for a Senior Business Controller. This role requires a strong financial professional with extensive controlling experience and the assertiveness to challenge stakeholders and optimize business performance. You will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making in a dynamic and international environment.

Conduct in-depth analyses of P&L, ROCE, and risk management for specific market segments, identifying trends and growth potential; Translate financial data into clear reports and presentations, providing strategic insights and recommendations; Optimize working capital and monitor key risks related to accumulated positions and essential raw materials; Manage the planning process, including periodic forecasts, annual budgeting, and strategic planning up to EBIT level; Contribute to key investment projects, including CAPEX and M&A, by providing financial…

Must-haves:

• You hold a master’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field;
• Acquire at least 4 years of experience in finance, preferably as a controller or business partner;
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills to translate financial data into strategic insights;
• Communicate fluently in Dutch, both written and spoken;
• Possess excellent communication skills to present complex financial concepts clearly;
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
