We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a Technical Officer to support the operation of one of our certification schemes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Certification Scheme Management
  • Act as the main point of contact for the scheme
  • Participate in relevant meetings
  • Collect and analyse data from members
  • Prepare biannual management reports
  • Coordinate developments and collaboration between scheme groups
  • Technical Scope (one of the following areas)
  • Energy performance of products (e.g. insulation materials, heat pumps, solar heating devices)
  • or
  • Safety of electrical devices (50–1000 Volt DC) and interoperability.
  • Assessments
  • Perform assessments of Certification Bodies across Europe
  • Verify compliance with EN ISO/IEC 17000 standards and CENELEC standards

Operational Support

  • Maintain operational system documents
  • Support development of documentation
  • Additional
  • Support the Secretary General when needed

Profiel

Requirements

  • Experience with certification bodies and assessments
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel)
  • Valid work permit for Belgium
  • Excellent English (written and spoken)

Ons aanbod

  • Interim assigment with permanent contract after 6 months.
  • Fulltime job during office hours. If requested, parttime (6 hours/day) can also be possible.
  • Salary package including meal vouchers.
