Warehouse Operative

A company within the Transport & Distribution industry, located in Zaventem.

As a Warehouse Operative your responsibilities are:

Coordinate and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory movements, and day-to-day logistics activities. Keep warehouse and transportation systems up to date with accurate operational data. Prepare and manage all necessary shipping, receiving, and dispatch documentation. Track shipments, stock levels, and fleet activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. Assist with daily warehouse activities, including goods receipt, storage, order picking, and shipment preparation. Identify and resolve routine issues related to deliveries, stock discrepancies, and transportation. Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability procedures are consistently followed. A successful Warehouse Operative should have:

• Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
• A proactive and organised approach to tasks.
• The ability to handle physical work in a busy setting.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety and operational procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• A valid forklift license is a plus but not mandatory.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, inventory control or transportation support.
• Supply Chain or logistics certifications (e.g., CSCP) are a plus.

Skills

• Knowledge of warehouse, inventory and transportation processes.
• Experience using warehouse management and logistics systems.
