As a Policy Officer your responsibilities are:
- Analyze and assess consumer policies with a focus on economic perspectives.
- Develop and implement strategies for effective advocacy at the European and international levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to advance consumer interests.
- Monitor policy developments and identify opportunities to influence decision-making processes.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations to support policy positions.
- Represent the organization in meetings, events, and consultations with policymakers and other stakeholders.
- Provide expertise on economic aspects of consumer protection and market practices.
- Contribute to the overall objectives of the Marketing & Agency department.
Profiel
A successful Policy Officer should have:
- A Master's degree in Economics or Business Studies.
- Strong experience in European or international policy and advocacy.
- Proficiency in assessing consumer policy areas, particularly from an economic perspective.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
- Excellent level of English both written and verbal, French and Dutch is a plus.
