As a Policy Officer your responsibilities are:
Analyze and assess consumer policies with a focus on economic perspectives. Develop and implement strategies for effective advocacy at the European and international levels. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to advance consumer interests. Monitor policy developments and identify opportunities to influence decision-making processes. Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations to support policy positions. Represent the organization in meetings, events, and consultations with policymakers and other stakeholders. Provide expertise on economic aspects of consumer protection and market practices. Contribute to the overall objectives of the Marketing & Agency department.
Profiel
A successful Policy Officer should have:
- A Master's degree in Economics or Business Studies.
- Strong experience in European or international policy and advocacy.
- Proficiency in assessing consumer policy areas, particularly from an economic perspective.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
- Excellent level of English both written and verbal, French and Dutch is a plus.
